6 Things to Get Excited About When Living in the Country





1. Chickens - oh how I love chickens, they are so funny and personable. They are also way cheaper than a horse!

2. I can landscape as much as my checkbook allows!

3. You never know what little critters will be waiting outside the door - this morning it was a cute little box turtle!

4. Coffee is sweeter and more enjoyable on a front porch overlooking the green shaded lawn.

5. Kids have so much room to run and jump and climb, that might explain why Abby only gained 2 inches in height and 2 pounds in weight in an entire year!

6. Family time is more frequent when its done in daddy's new shop!

Jesus Brings Hope - Our Foster Journey Placement

March 11, 2015 our little foster baby was born and hope entered the world. He brings to us a message of Christ's love  and purpose for all mankind. His mother chose life and for this very reason I know that in her own way loves him deeply. I headed to Houston on March 12th -  the 17th "met you" anniversary for my husband and I. My husband sent me off with a kiss - off to deliver a huge part of my past. Little did I know our future dreams were about to begin. I was headed to Houston to deliver 8 years of payroll files to our payroll office and to say good-bye to many friends who have battled along side me through the ups and downs of  company life - my job of 17 years was about to be handed over in boxes to be scanned and destroyed, it was very depressing! Happy 10th Birthday my son. I can not believe you are double digits already. I have loved you from the very minute I saw the double line on the pregnancy stick. You ushered me into Motherhood! I remember the day of your birth, you were born sunny side up and my back labor was more than I could bare. I begged for an epidural but it was too late - you were on the way!
