March 26, 2006 I can't believe it is Spring already! I spent the whole weekend at Home Depot and Lowe's picking out my flowers for this year. My house looks like a pit, but the yard looks so beautiful now! Let me tell you what Drew did over his weekend, on Saturday my mom and I took Drew to Home Depot to visit daddy, and to drool over all the new plants. Drew was a little angel, even though he missed his nap! We took him to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and then watched him play with all the "big kids." Mom and I had so much fun, I even talked her into buying a Bradford Pear Tree for her back yard. Drew, mom and I spent the rest of the day getting filthy in her backyard. Oh, and of course we went to the Goodwill first thing on Saturday morning. I found a few (20) new outfits for my "gently used" children's clothing business. April 25, 2006 As you can see I have been learning new and exciting web page features. I really am enjoying learning new and fun designs. Who knew a simple little web page would launch me into an online business. Drewscloset.com is still in the process of being set up. I am supposed to meet with the web page designer this week. Hopefully, with the little I know about web pages I can maintain everything myself once it is up and running. My plan to be up and running by May 1 st probably isn't going to happen. John is finished with his finals this week, so hopefully he will be able to help me out a little. I have most of the clothes inventoried; John is going to help me with the pictures. April 18, 2006 I can't believe what I found today! Drew has been cranky because he had 4 back bottom molars come through last week. Today his top left molar has popped through. The poor little man! I couldn't believe that he had a mouth full of teeth - I was expecting the front bottom ones to come in first. Oops! I gave Drew Tylenol today and he was so much better. Oh, some people have been asking about garden pictures, so I attached a few pictures I took of the house yesterday. You can see I have put John's flower beds to good use. I still have a few more roses and Vinca to put in, but for the most part everything has been planted! April 16, 2006 It is Spring! The Williams have been gardening again this week; we just can't stop planting. John is now building me flower beds in the back yard for my garden. We have had a temporary house guest, a lab puppy, who decided that all my plants needed to be uprooted. I spent much of Sunday replanting my garden. I have determined ...

April 10, 2006 Drew is running everywhere! He rushes from one activity to another jabbering as he goes. I can't believe how busy he is! I guess that is why he sleeps from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM (or even 9:00 AM sometimes), and naps for a few hours in the afternoon. Drew is just starting to feed himself with a spoon and fork. I think it would be a little easier on him if he would pick a hand! Drew makes a horrible mess, but has a lot of fun! He is so proud of himself when he gets a bite into his mouth. Today he actually gave me the spoon so I could feed him his oatmeal, he was really hungry! Drew isn't speaking words very much, he loves to yell though. He loves his bedtime routine, especially the hugs and kisses. He also loves to play peek-a-boo with me in the bathtub. Drew pulls the shower curtain across the bathtub and then peeks his head around trying to trick me. He also loves to get wet in the hose while I am gardening. April 4, 2006 This week was full of excitement! On Friday & Saturday I went with my friend Shannon to a parenting conference at Irving Bible Church. The class was great and really reinforced the way John and I are already parenting little Drew. This seminar was teaching on heart issues in children. The class was designed to discover the real reason behind the defiance, instead of punishing to change behavior. It also addressed the necessity for consistency and routine. After the seminar we took the kids to Chick-Fil-A to eat and of course play. Drew had so much fun running all over and playing with the big kid! That evening we all went to church and then home for some relaxation. John had to work on Sunday, but we met him at Southlake Town Center! We drank Jamba Juice and played in the town square.
