Weekly Family Update

This week has been all about the Home Makover Project! John has been working all week in the garage and at the house in order to get a jump start on all the work that needs to be done. Drew and I baked fall cookies to take over to the workers and little Gabe has been rolling around all week in my tummy. I don't know what has gotten into him, but he has discovered how to roll. My stomach lumps are always changing shape. Drew was a very quiet non mover, so this is a huge change.

I have been busy with a mom2mom group, Northwood's mentoring program, and a mom's book club! We also went out to eat with our friends the Tyson's for Zac's birthday. On Friday afternoon Drew and I get to watch little Ethan while Zac helps John on the makeover project. How fun! I've also been busy closing the books at work and cleaning up the never ending mess at home.

Drew spent Monday with Nana since it was Columbus Day - they ran errands and then went to get Drew's haircut. On Wednesday and Friday Drew has had preschool - he is learning his litter E and I and learning the colors brown and orange. He also had music, Spanish, and was able to bring his favorite book "Trusty Tried And True" for book time. His aunt Julie is visiting for a few days so Drew is very excited for the extra playmate! Lately Drew's imagination has taken over, he can be found "weeding" the yard with a stick, noises included, or blasting off of our brick pile in a rocket ship. He loves to talk and is only quiet when sleeping!

We are all anxious for the cool weather to arrive so we can visit the pumpkin patch in jeans! It has still been in the 80's during the day and low 70's at night.

Sorry Ethan didn't come and play... It was probably a good thing Zac didn't take hime up there. We were having major issues with the milk and Ethan and then today we went to the Doctor. He has a little Upper Resp. Infection. Can't wait to hear how the Makeover went! Happy Birthday tomorrow John!
